I've been able to successfully load the Oracle 6.0 client and Oracle 9i
clients on a Windows XP pc. I have separate tnsnames.ora files for each
client and can connect fine. Problem is that it doesn't work on a Windows
2000 PC. The clients load but the tnsnames.ora under the 9i client isn't
recognized. I have to put all the entries in the tnsnames under the 6.0
client to connect. There are connectivity problems to the 9i database
using the 6.0 client (net80) - the connectivity problems disappeared when
the 9i client is used. Any ideas/suggestions to get the two versions to
co-exist better on a Win2K PC? Thank you.
