in our test lab, we have non-DBA folks doing database "stuff"...I'd like to
know if there is anyway to allow these folks to do their work without having
to explicitly give them a password or "powerful" privileges to complete the
testing. in other words, is there some way to have a "black envelope"
schema, table, etc, whose sole purpose is to store usernames and passwords
to be referenced when non-DBA folks need to run SQL commands to the
database?
does this make sense? thanks for your help....
