RE: using imp / exp to read dump file?

Import it with show=Y. It will write the entries in log file and not import any objects.

Subject: using imp / exp to read dump file?

Howdy:

I'm running Oracle 9.2.x on RHEL 2.1.

There is a DMP file on one of the partitions that was created a
few days ago.

It looks like it was created by the 'exp' tool - is there a way to
use 'imp' or 'exp' to just look at what's inside it (kind of
like doing 'tar tvf file.tar') and not do / load any data?

Thanks!
