RE: sql loader taking longer in 9i than 8i

There are several factors that could be accounting for the difference, but
are you doing a direct load? If not, you should. Also, if you can do a
direct load on the database machine, this will always give the best
performance.

Good Luck!

Subject: sql loader taking longer in 9i than 8i

We have two versions of the same database. SQL Loader in 9i is taking much
LONGER than in the 8i database. We've ruled out network issues already.
Anyone have any ideas?
