Trace - we run on 8.1.7 and like it, and tested 9i and found it slower,
and didn't like it.

However, Oracle pretty much forces you to upgrade if you want to maintain
support. If you have any words of wisdom on speed problems with 9i - we
would be very interested.

We have two versions of the same database. SQL Loader in 9i is taking much
LONGER than in the 8i database. We've ruled out network issues already.
Anyone have any ideas?
