Re: sql loader taking longer in 9i than 8i

Re: sql loader taking longer in 9i than 8i

What release of 9i it is? Rel 1 or Rel 2?

I have used sqlldr reasonably extensively in almost all versions since
5.x; I am surprised to know this.

What was the criteria you used for Comparing?

Anyway, are you loading into the same table structures in the Same
server?
If so are there any extra indexes?
Did you verify what other processes were running?

Provide more info.
