Having been on both sides at the same time for a couple of small projects,
it was tough. But I did a great job or that's what I was told by the
customers. I would never do that again!

However, I pose a question to the LazyDBA Discussion members: Which has
the easier job - Developer or DBA? I said "DBA"! Why, because I don't have
to deal with the users (just a joke)!
