Subject : DBMS_METADATA / Object TYPEs / Dependencies

Hello Team

I was trying out to use DBMS_METADATA for regenration of object types.
I am not able to locate a way to regenrate parent first followed by
child. Can anyone help me in this regard. I want to know what i missed.
I tried DBMS_METADATA.GET_DEPENDENT_DDL too but without success.
