RE: instances

RE: instances

If you can take the DB's down this is easy to find. In task manager you
have a PID next to each excusable running. Write down the PID number
for each Oracle.exe you're running. Note the one that is running high.
Shutdown each oracle db until the PID with the problem stops.

Subject: instances

Dear All,

I have a server with 5 instances. For last couple of days, I have been
observing that my CPU percentage is going quite high (more than 90%) and

this is because of a process oracle.exe. This I am getting from the Task

Manager (I am on windows 2000).

Now since there are 5 instances, there are 5 oracle.exe . But how can i
know for which instance this oracle.exe is having a high CPU
utilization?
