What version of the database are you running ? If your actually using
rollback segments (not undo tablespace) set the "optimal" size of each
rollback segment, if your really want the rollback segments to shrink.

Subject: rollback not shrinking
Hello,
I am having some problem in rollback segment area in one database. The
RBS tablespace is now about 2 GB !! but still it is getting filled up. I
checked the free space and found only 9 mb left in RBS. I even restarted
the database and still it was 9mb. Why isn't the rollback segment
shrinking? What should i do it has slowed down the performance.
thank you
Abdul
