RE: Purpose of Lazy DBA

RE: Purpose of Lazy DBA

I have to say that I was struggling last week with what (it seemed to me)
was a pretty simple sql process and the current critical feeling regarding
simple questions stopped me posting to the forum for assistance
(incidentally I did rtfm first lol)

This topic comes up way more often in the SQL Server list.
Haven't seen it here for quite while. I've always found
the Oracle list to be a friendlier place. And I hope it
stays that way.

I am new to the list, but also fairly experienced with both sql server
and oracle. I have some really stupid easy questions sometimes on stuff
I know I looked up previously but just don't have the time at some
points. I think anyone should be able to any level of question without
fear of ridicule. Atleast this is what I am looking for in a list.
This current topic is about to make me look else where again for another
dba group. Just wanted to voice my opinion.
