I think a few people took my original post the wrong way. I was not complaining, it was just a general question.

I certainly understand what it is like starting out with something as complex as Oracle, and appreciate that people like to get fast answers.

As others have pointed out, being a Lazy DBA does not mean you never read the manuals.

I am not suggesting people should not post questions, but that they are at least willing to have a go at doing some research themselves.

I see a lot of questions where the poster has not demonstrated that they have tried to solve the problem at all, and this is what prompted my original question.
