Hi
One of my friend getting the following issue while he is shutting down the database with normal & immediate option
"During normal shutdown or shutdown immediate "ORA-08102: index key not found, obj# 452, dba 4197554 (2)".
The object (I_MON_MODS$_OBJ)is belong to sys schema.
Would you please let me know if this is problem related to index/block corruption.
The person has already build the index which has not resolved this issue.
Any Immediate help would be appreciated.
Regards
Sandeep

It turns out that there has been some recent discussion of this topic in
other forums lately. If you follow the link below, you'll find some useful
information about it specifically from the security point of view. It looks
like that entry has links to more how-to details if you need them.

In the back of my mind I recall that it is possible to write to the
alert.log from procedure, but can not recall how. What do I execute to
do this?
