down load the 9.2.0.4 patch from oracle.
use the patch. do not reinstall new software

I need to upgrade a DB from 9.2.0.1 to 9.2.0.4, in a windows 2000
server, but have no knowledge on how to do this. Has anyone performed
exactly this same upgrade? If so, did you have any problems while doing
it, are there specific things I should be careful with? Does anyone have
a "dummy-proof" guide available?
