RE: What is SAP Systems?

SAP systems are ERP (enterprise, resource and planning) software. Like PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, BAAN, Oracle Financials and MS Axapta. The software consists of many different modules and depending on your company you would buy which modules your company would need. For example, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GL, Payroll, HR, Manufacturing, Budgeting etc...

There is nothing unique about SAP for Oracle. SAP can use pretty much any RDBMS and would be beneficial if on a UNIX OS.

Subject: What is SAP Systems?

Can anyone provide me an overview of SAP Systems?

Is there anything unique about SAP systems for Oracle?

Thanks.
