Hi, folks:
We are planning to switch to a more powerful hardware and my plan was to
build a standby database on the new box then switch over with only 5 minutes
of downtime. However, just realized that this new box has window 2003
instead of 2000 which my current production server uses. Of course, I can
always re-install w2k on the new box. My question is does it matter the
standby will have 2003. According to the manual, the OS must be the same for
primary and standby. However, they should have the same file system, right??
