I'm in the process of testing an upgrade from 8.1.7.4.0 to .17. So first
stop is automated (OUI) upgrade to 8.1.5.7.1. Went fine except that the
oci.dll file could not be copied. So I chose the "skip" option and rest of
upgrade went fine. Figured out what was locking on the old oci.dll (MSDTC
service). But when trying to re-run OUI install it says "already upgraded",
so does not let me run it again. Also can't uninstall upgrade (thanks
Oracle!). All files for upgrade are in .jar files (this is on a windows
2003 server). Anyone know how I can get that one dumb file upgraded?
