RE: drop a table

RE: drop a table

Hi,
It seems that the table you want to drop Is being used by some user or
some application code is making use of it. So you may have to kill that
seesion that is making use of that table and then you may drop it. You
can use V$lock view to get more information.

Amar.

Subject: drop a table

When I attempt to drop a table I get the following message: resource

busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified. This table seems to be locked

because I can't run any queries on it.

Thank you

George
