I know that you can put the NLS_DATE_FORMAT in the registry in the entry
that have the ORACLE_HOME.

I don't think you can set NLS_DATE_FORMAT for the system dynamically. As far
as i know you set it in the init.ora and have to bounce the database for it
to be set.

Anyone else know any better?
