I have to set up RMAN for some new back up software. I have oracle 9.2.0.4
on windows 2000 server. Dose the rman need to be on a separate box, or can I
just activate the rman user? Dose the Rman need its own database on the same
computer?? Any Rman setup instructions would be great, I am not a DBA, but I
perform most of the functions of our oracle database.
