Hi All,

I have a table with 2 million records, Right now , when I run an update
query the whole table gets locked and after some time the query abends
without updating the values ,
this update statement is run the batch mode. it has to update all the 2
million records. Is it possible to update only couple of records at a time
for example first 100 records and then the next 100 records till 2 million.

I request you all DBA is there an query which can do this kind of operation.
