HI All ,

I have a small query related to file/directory permission in Unix.
Is there any way by which we can find out the directory or file
permissions in Unix .
FOr instance
-rwx------ 1 erpbt_a erpbt_a 182 Nov 30 20:34 while1.pl

i want it shud give me back 700 in place of -rwx------
