Hi,

My database is Oracle 8.1.7 on Windows 2000 Sever

Today when I tried to connect my application , it gave error "No Listener"

I checked on database server for tnslistener service. It was not started.

I started it...but after 2-3 seconds it again stopped.

I checked windows alert logs..it gives error " unexpectedly terminating the service"

what could be the reasons ?
