Hello all.

We have an AIX 4.3 box with oracle 8. If we upgrade to aix5, will we need
to install a new version of oracle 8, for aix 5x? I know that oracle 9 had
two versions, one for aix 4.3 and aix 5.

Does anyone know if we will need to get a new, aix5 version of oracle 8?

(we cannot upgrade to oracle 9 due to a specific application on that
machine).
