I installed Oracle on a Dell PowerEdge4600 with dual Xeon processors
running Windows 2000 server.

Everything seemed fine. My user calls and says he is getting a =
ORA-12541.

Sure enough the listener isn't responding. lsnrstl status shows that the =
listener
thinks the database service has died. I look through all the logs. =
Nothing.
I recycle the database and everything works. Fifteen minutes later the =
problem
reappears.

Anyone have any ideas?
