We're running W2K AS/Oracle 9.2 on a Compaq Proliant DL580 G2 and twice
this month the server has locked up and had to be cold booted.

The system has been running with no problems for over a year now. We
increased the memory from 4gig to 8gig about 3 months ago and

this is the first problem since. I know with 8i on NT there was a memory
leak problem but I was under the impression that it was fixed in 9i. Would

Oracle memory leak problem cause the system to lock up like it did? There
was nothing in the alert log or user trace log and event log was clean.

We are looking at all the hardware and going to reseat all the boards in
the server.

Also, after the first lock up we applied Oracle patch 9.2.0.6 from
9.2.0.3.2. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
