RE: Command to check consistency of DB Files

Hi Robert,

Yes there is, it's a command line utility called DBV(erify) which can be
used against an off-line database.

See this link for more details.

Subject: Command to check consistency of DB Files

I've worked with SQL Server 7.0 some time back and I remember there was a
command one could run to check if the internal database files were corrupt.

Is there anything along this line for Oracle?

Thanks,
Robert Furtado
