Yes, it is called $ORACLE_HOME/bin/dbv. It is highly recommended to run
with the database DOWN as you can sometimes get false errors if it is
up. Good luck.

I've worked with SQL Server 7.0 some time back and I remember there was

command one could run to check if the internal database files were
corrupt.
Is there anything along this line for Oracle?
