Hi
Currently I don't want the datafile to be restored. Let me know whether I can remove the file from the server and work with my database.

Hi Srividia.

Take a full backup first (even if db is corrupt) .
Then you restore only corrupt datafile from valid backup und do recovery:
ALTER DATABASE MOUNT;
RECOVER DATAFILE '...'
ALTER DATABASE OPEN;

Hi Folks
One of my datafile is corrupted and it has gone offline. Let me whether
I can delete the datafile from its physical location and create a new
datafile and associate with the tablesapce.
