And even then, what seems like a good idea can sometimes result in some not so great names.
Example, our developers came up with "DICH" for our Development InterConnect Hub - makes sense, up until one of the female developers yells out to the DBAs across a crowded room asking "Does anyone know why DICH has grown so large? I would prefer it to be smaller." *lol*
Thankfully we stopped them before the Production database was created, otherwise we would have ended up with "PRICH"!
