RE: Enterprise vs Standard version of Oracle 9i

Price difference will be huge - at least it was with 8i. So, get that info from the web site and your rep before you buy.

Subject: Enterprise vs Standard version of Oracle 9i

This got bounced twice. Maybe third time is a charm.

Hey guys I am new to this field. Someone may have already had this answer in
the system.

Why do we have to go with Enterprise version of Oracle as compared to
Standard version when we are impleamenting Oracle 11i. Can't we impleament
11i on Standard version?

I guess what I don't understand what functionality in terms of Oracle 11i
are we going to loose if we don't go with Oracle 9i Enterprise version.

You views will be greatly appreciated as we are in a hurry to decide this.

Thanks
Abhay
