Hello:

My databases scenario is as follows.
I use RMAN to take the backups. The recovery window is usually 21 days.
The db servers do not have enough space to store the archive logs.
I copy these on some other disks, which now tend to full.

My question is, do I really need to copy the archive logs, since RMAN takes
the backup too.
In case of restore, I always duplicate the db on some other server.
