RE: listener log file getting very large

Is it safe to do this?

cat /dev/null > listener.log

LOGGING_LISTENER=OFF in listener.ora Where listener is the default
listener name.

You can also lsnrctl set log_file <new_name>, (using some batch file),
then rename the listener.log file, then go back in and set log_file
listener.log.

All,

Is there a way to clear the listener log file. Mine is almost 2gb and I
would like to clear it. Is there a command line option of lsnrctl that
will do this. I'm running 9i on windows 2000 server.

Dan
