I have a situation

I have got two oracle databases db1 and db2


I have got 2 schemas on db1 schema1 and read_schema

I have a schema read_schema on db2

I have created a db link between db1 and db2 without userid and password (create public database link db2 using 'db2')

when i log in on db1 as read_schema I can use the link

My packages on db1 are in schema1. These packages refer to remote objects on db2 under read_schema

Becuase of this restricted db link my packages on db1 under schema1 do not compile any more.

Please help.
