Kalpana, may be you want to make sure that the file is in the exact place where you are calling it from in your script. Slashes are not written as backslashes or vice-versa. Or, there are no other little spelling mistakes in writing the file and folder names. Your error message is pretty clear and simple that SQLLDR is not able to see the file where it is being told to look for. Another little thing you can check is the permissions on the file.

I am encountering the following error when trying to load data from csv
file to a table in a schema through SQL Loader.
SQL*Loader-500: Unable to open file (f:/sql.txt)
SQL*Loader-553: file not found
SQL*Loader-509: System error: The system cannot find the file specified.
Can someone throw light on any possible reasons for the above?
