RE: MV access

RE: MV access

They need the query rewrite privilege
As you query the mastertable CBO will calculate and rewrite the query to
use the MV.
Hench grants on the tables making up the MV are all that is needed.

All:

If I have a MV on an existing table and the access on the underlying
table
is granted to my users; do I need to grant access on the MVs
separattely or is it taken care of via grants to the table?

thank you
