Re: How to find Backup job

Backup software is capable of doing this (for eg BMC petrol if installed)

alter database backup controlfile to
'/apps/oracle/scripts/networker/control_file_copy.PRODQAS'
Thu Jun 30 03:17:00 2005

Its a 8.1.7.3 database running on Solaris 8. This is'nt a cron job, so im
wondering where its run from.
Its not needed since i setup RMAN to take backup of the database.

Can it be related to this?
root 516 1 0 Mar 19 ? 1:01
/opt/tng/services/bin/awservices
root 522 516 0 Mar 19 ? 4:25 /opt/tng/services/bin/aws_orb
run --name=aws_orb --instance=aws_orb
root 572 516 0 Mar 19 ? 499:52 /opt/tng/agents/bin/caiUxOs
run --name=caiUxOs --instance=caiUxOs
root 565 516 0 Mar 19 ? 3:06
/opt/tng/services/bin/aws_sadmin run --name=aws_sadmin
--instance=aws_sadmin
root 583 516 0 Mar 19 ? 47:23
/opt/tng/agents/bin/caiOraA2_81_b run --name=caiOraA2_81 --instance=MXPROD
-i M

Any clues?

Thanks

Tommy
