Subject: 10g Linux Installer Problem
Hi,
I'm trying to install 10g on Fedora Core 3. It's the first time I've
installed on a Linux system and guess what ... I've got problems.
I believe I've followed all the pre-install stuff but when I try to tun
the runInstaller program it starts Ok by reporting that the operating
system version is OK and then says "Please wait....". After a further 2
seconds it returns to the terminal prompt without launching the GUI
installer.
I'm running from the terminal window within the Gnome desktop.
Can anyone help with suggestions as to why the GUI installer does not
appear. Sorry if I've missed any info.
Thanks
Rob
