RE: Two records have same rowid

Hi,

Pl. check whether are any triggers on the table.

If not then you need to check the java code and nothing should be wrong
from oracle.

Subject: Two records have same rowid

Hi Gurus,

Our application is written in java and the database is ORACLE 8.1.7 in
SUN solaris.

We have come across a rare problem , that is , first record in the
database is replaced , by the second record, By carrying out an update
on the second record by using the ROWID of the first record. Now the
first record is missing as it was replaced by the second record.

Any ideas, why this has happened

Thanks,

Aruna
