RE: Oracle 10G Database Release 2
I think what 10g means is when you drop or remove datafiles/tablespaces it
also cleans the files physically which was not the case in earlier
versions at least until oracle 8i. I am not sure about 9i.

To All,
I was told that you can now drop "empty" datafiles in Oracle Database
10G Release 2. Does that mean logically and physically or just logically?
Thanks for you support!
