Good Morning All,

I am trying to create a database using dbca. I have changed the memory
parameters shmmax and I am still getting the error: unable to attach a
shared memory segment. The set up of the DB is supposed to be identical
to another machine we already have up and running. I have, to the best
of my knowledge, replicated the setup parameters, etc.

Could you please suggest where else to look to debug? I have looked on
Metalink, online, etc and am not finding much else than suggestions to
change the SHMMAX, which isn't clearing the error.
