Good Morning All,

I have a stand-alone database. Due to the nature of the data, we are not
allowed to network the machine (by law, among other reasons). My
question is, if we are using Oracle as basically a data warehouse, do I
still need to upkeep with the patches, etc? I am very new to this (have
10g running on suse 9.something) and have never had to update/patch.
This machine will never be on the internet, never be networked with any
other machine, other than a couple of machines in my office and it will
never be used for anything fancy in terms of reports and
development.......ideas, suggestions?
