RE: problem

RE: problem

I think we have sought out said knowledge previously, but it doesn't
hurt to try again eh?

Personally, I'm working on a problem of my own (presented yesterday to
this formum). I seem to be making progress, but must continue forward
as I am wasting too much time on it.

That said, I am going to have to pass on your project as well, but I
would like the answer.

Want a WAG. (same as before). If you can, it will only go back as far
as the redo logs -- except that there are the flashback log files which
may be how it is actually done when you enable it.

Sorry, flashback is next on my project list... after I tackle
replication.

Joel (And Everyone Else),
Since we are alone I might as well put you and everyone else to work!

My question is: Should I use the flashback feature if I am running my
Development database in noarchivelog mode? If so, why? If not, why
not? hehe.
