Use ftp/sftp? That's what I did, and it worked.

When I tried to download Oracle10.2 and write it to a CD, it was 20-30
MB too large to fit on one CD. Since it was a single zip file, I
couldn't figure out how to transfer it to a new server not connected to
the internet. Any ideas?

Be advised , since this was a suprise to me.
When I got the Oracle10.2 "CD PACK" , the Oracle DB and the Oracle 10.2
Grig Control where all on DVD's.
When I got the Oracle 10.1 "CD PACK", sometime last year, I got CDROMS
and an additional copy on DVD all in the "CD PACK".

Yes, you should be able to download 10gr2 from otn. Also, assuming you
purchased support & have a MetaLink account, you can request the CP pack
to be sent to you. Use a TAR/SR to do this.

Subject: Oracle 10g Install - Most Current Version
We purchased Oracle 10g approximately 16 months ago, but for various
reasons, have not upgraded from 8i yet, but am planning on this in the
near future.
Rather the load from the CD packs I received and applying all the
relevant patches, does Oracle provide the latest install version on the
net?
Thanks all!
