Subject: RE: Migrating from Informix 7 DW to Oracle 10g?
We just did one to 9i.
Use the High performance loader in Informix to unload the data. And then
import the data into oracle. To convert the schema you can use a tool
like Erwin or use the dbschema utility in Informix and manually change
the schema.
Oracle takes a lot more work than Informix so be prepared to have to
spend more time for DB management.
