See note 207303.1 (metalink) and the Instant client FAQ (OTN) - instant
client connectivity to databases is supported at the same level as the
full client. So instant client 10.2 is support against 10.2.0, 10.1.0 and
9.2.0 (and 8.1.7 under Extended support). Forgive me if you initial
requirement was for a DB version other than those (I gorget).

Tim - Thanks for the info. I would be a bit concerned how this would
fit with our 3rd party supplier from a support point of view. I'll
check it out.

Harro - Unfortunately IZArc didn't work either. I'm downloading the
whole thing again in the hope I just had a bad download.
