I can't reply to the whole group, but I've used this for over a year.
If you don't explicitly refer to the lob, it will transfer it to via a
dblink.

insert into [Email address protected]
select * from electronicdatadeliverable

Hi,

I tried to create a materialized view. And I get the following error-

ORA-22992: cannot use LOB locators selected from remote tables

My confusion about lob locators came true. My biggest doubt was lob locator is sort of like a reference to the actual data in the database. So, how could we copy that locator value from one database to another?

May be I am totally off here.
