Thanks to all DBAs out there who replied to my question..
I realised it got nothing to do with the oracle database. It was running
fine,
Its the DNS setting (I wonder why the server admin hardcode the old IP
address inside the host file) and i did a flush for the IPconfig on my PC.
Oh ya. If i change the hostname now, what is the impact to the ORACLE?
I just need to change the TNSNAMES.ora and the LISTENER.ora?
