RE: need windows script

RE: need windows script

you can do it with windows vb scripting.
you need to install
windows_scripting_en.exe
sc_debugger10en.exe
from microsoft.

in commanf prompt type
cscript or wcscript to see if its already setup
you will need the debugger though.

Subject: need windows script

Hello

I am new to ORACLE DBA. Windows server 2003 and oracle 9.2.x.x.x .I have
been asked to write to windows script to pull all the non-oracle
installed schemas. do individual dumps using exp utility, do error
trapping/reporting and later on zip and archive it. Anyone has the
script to do this. Also need to import script to restore. I am aware
how to do this manually but I am not familiar in windows scripting for
automation .I would really appreciate your help and it would be starting
point for my backup/restore strategy.

Thanks
