I am new to using 10g and I have been playing with it for a Data
Warehouse project we are working on. Its our first one. Well when I
look the homepage of Enterprise Manager web console where it lists
Alerts. I always see something similar to this alert pop up: Metrics
"Database Time Spent Waiting (%)" is at 62.17405 for event class
"Commit"
<http://corvette:1158/em/console/database/monitoring/metricDetail$type=o
racle*_database$target=INODW$pageType=byDay$metricColumn=dbtime*_waitcla
ss*_pct$metric=wait*_sess*_cls$keyValue=Commit?event=showOpenAlerts>

And the time it has for when this alert occurred is when nothing was
happening on the database or server. No users are connect (and I know
because I am the only one using it since it is still in test mode).
What does this mean? Is it something to worry about?

Also that message seems to go away after a while. Thanks for your help.
